29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest system. On or about August 20, 2012, during construction activities including, installation of roof sheeting at a height of approximately 9 feet, 6 inches, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from fall hazards by ensuring a fall protection system/device was being used.
