Employees were exposed to a potential fall of approximately 9.1 feet to the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) Mike Rew dba Rews Roofing & Siding, Oregon, Ohio: On or about August 20, 2012, at address 3533 Fieldbrooke Lane, Oregon, Ohio, the employer did not ensure that employees had been trained in the recognition of fall hazards and the appropriate use of fall protection, such as but not limited to the use of personal fall arrest systems. Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 9.1 feet to the ground below.
