29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: (a) Eyewash stations within the facility were supplied only with a 32 ounce bottle of eye flushing liquid. Disinfectants and caustic cleaning materials used on-site specify the need for a 15-minute flush of the eyes in case of eye contact. Materials used on site include: --Ecolab Oasis Pro 65 which contains phosphoric acid, --Ecolab Oasis Pro 20 Neutral Disinfectant Cleaner which contains diddecyldimethylammonium chloride and quaternary compounds, --Oasis 146 Multi-quat Sanitizer which contains dicapryl dimonium chloride, benzalkonium chloride and alcohol. Abatement Certification is required.

Housekeeping staff use medical examining gloves as protection for their skin while scrubbing areas and cleaning with various chemicals. These gloves are not constructed to remain intact during scrubbing nor are they chemically resistant. Chemicals used include, but not limited to: --Ecolab Oasis Pro 65 which contains phosphoric acid, --Ecolab Oasis Pro 20 Neutral Disinfectant Cleaner which contains diddecyldimethylammonium chloride and quaternary compounds, --Dispatch Disinfectant Wipes containing bleach.
