29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: Jobsite located at 7609 Antioch Rd., Overland Park, KS 66204 - Employees engaged in residential roofing activities, removing old roofing materials were exposed to fall hazards of 10 feet from the roof to the ground below. Employee was working on the 5x12 pitch roof with no fall protection methods in use. 29 CFR 1903.19(d)(1) abatement of the above violation was verified at time of inspection, no certification is required.

29 CFR 1926.503(b)(1): The employer did not verify compliance with paragraph (a) of this section by preparing a written (training) certification record including the name or other identity of the employee trained, the date(s) of the training, and the signature of the person who conducted the training or the signature of the employer. Jobsite located at 7609 Antioch Rd., Overland Park, KS 66204 - Employees engaged in residential roofing activities, removing old roofing materials were exposed to fall hazards of 10 feet from the roof to the ground below. Employee was working on the 5x12 pitch roof with no fall protection methods in use. Employer did not prepare a written certification record of fall protection training provided to each employee to recognize fall hazards and the means/methods to ensure compliance. 29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1) requires certification that the abatement of the above violation is complete.
