29 CFR 1926.1126(d)(1): The employer with a workplace or work operation covered by this standard did not determine the 8-hour time-weighted average exposure for each employee exposed to chromium (VI): (a) Lamar Construction Company, 1500 1st Ave., Greeley, CO 80631: On and before 8/23/12, the employer as the general contractor did not determine, in accordance with either paragraph (d)(2) or (d)(3) of this section, the 8-hour TWA exposure for each employee exposed to chromium (VI). Subcontractor employees under the control of Lamar Construction Company perform welding on stainless steel parts which can release chromium (VI). This condition could result in employees wearing inappropriate respiratory protection for the situation and exposure to chromium (VI).
