29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Strain relief. Flexible cords shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided which will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. Building 16 - The power cord at the pedal of the Rigid 300 pipe threader did not have strain relief. Sprinkler Systems, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard 1926.405(g)(2)(iv), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315672337, Citation 1, Item 1a, and was affirmed as a final order on July 20, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 89 Western Avenue, Hampden, ME.
