29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(i): Guardrail systems shall be installed along all open sides and ends of platforms. Guardrail systems shall be installed before the scaffold is released for use by employees other than erection/dismantling crews. a. On or about August 23, 2012 - at the above addressed jobsite, an employee performing tuckpointing operations from a tubular welded frame scaffold, more than twenty five (25) feet above the ground, was exposed to injuries from falls due to the lack of guardrails.
