The employer had not complied with the provisions of 29 CFR 1926.652(b)(1)(i) in that: a) 24 South Main Street - On or about 23 August, 2012 - Employees were working in an excavation that was 12 feet wide by 12 feet long by 6 feet deep, with vertical walls, without any protective systems. Employees were exposed to a crushing hazard.
