29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.  Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system.    a)  On or about August 22, 2012, Weatherguard Construction, Inc. as controlling/exposing employer did not ensure that its employees, as well as those employees of Master Team, LLC (subcontractor), were protected from falls of up to 25 feet during roofing work on a 4-12 pitch hotel roof which consisted of, but was not limited to, installation of roof flashing material and cleaning of the roof with a leaf blower.    Weatherguard Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard, or its equivalent 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection 313720146 Citation 1, Item 3, issued on June 25, 2010 and became a final order on July 30, 2012 with respect to a worksite located at 19418 Mann Creek, Parker, CO 80134.
