29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems: Employees performing roofing work at the rear of the roof of the building undergoing roofing work were not protected against falls from the roof. Employees walking and working near the unprotected sides and edges were not provided with a lifeline to attached the lanyards of the harnesses being worn. No other form of fall protection was in place and in use.
