29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: a) Melara Construction LLC at E 104th Way and Worchester Drive, Commerce City, CO 80022: On or before August 25, 2012, the employer did not ensure that employees wore safety glasses when using or working in the vicinity of pneumatic nail guns. Condition exposed employees to the hazard of projectiles to the eyes. Melara Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent, 29 CFR 102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 77130, citation number 1, item 1, issued June 28, 2011 and became a final order on August 22, 2011, with respect to a workplace located at 3519 Xanthia Court, Denver, CO 80238.

Condition exposed employees to fall hazards of up to 13'. Melara Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent, 29 CFR 451(g)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313418188, citation number 1, item 2, issued April 20, 2010 and became a final order on June 18, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 255 Carina Cr., Loveland, CO 80537.
