29 CFR 1926.28(a): Appropriate personal protective equipment was not worn by employee(s) in all operations where there was exposure to hazardous conditions: a) Worksite at Towaco Crossings, 8-10 Whitehall Rd, Towaco, NJ Employees were not provided appropriate hand protection to use while performing overhand bricklaying and using Ace-Crete Mortar Mix which contains portland cement. Violation observed on or about 08/28/12.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vi): Each employee performing overhand bricklaying operations from a supported scaffold was not protected from falling from all open sides and ends of the scaffold (except at the side next to the wall being laid) by the use of a personal fall arrest system or guardrail system (with minimum 200 pound toprail capacity): a) Worksite at Towaco Crossings, 8-10 Whitehall Rd, Towaco, NJ Employees performing overhand bricklaying were not protected from falling 12 feet off the ends of the scaffold. Violation observed on or about 08/28/12.
