29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) On or about 8/28/12, on the north side of the building, employees were on the roof retrieving debris and performing other finishing details of the roofing job. They were not protected from falling by using any type of fall protection. The employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet to the ground below. AA Applicators Roofing & Waterproofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA Inspection number 311951800, Citation number 1, Item 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 23, 2009, with respect to a workplace located at 712 E. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Texas 76010.
