29 CFR 1910.132(f)(1): The employer did not provide training to each employee who is required by this section to use PPE. An employee was not trained in the limitations of the gloves worn for application of herbicide known as TRIMEC Southern Broadleaf. The glove worn was not a chemical resistant glove. The MSDS for this product requires the use of chemical resistant gloves such as Nitrile.

29 CFR 1910.138(a): Employers did not select and require employees to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands are exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasions; punctures; chemical burns; thermal burns; and harmful temperature extremes. An employee was applying a herbicide known as TRIMEC Southern Broadleaf without wearing proper chemical resistant gloves.
