29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: a) Worksite, 40 Arkay Dr., Hauppauge, NY- employees repairing the roof were exposed to fall hazards from possible section of roof collapse. The employees did not receive instruction on the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions; on or about 08/23/12. Note: In addition to abatement certification the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
