29 CFR 1926.503(c): When the employer has reason to believe that any affected employee who has already been trained does not have the understanding and skill required by paragraph (a) of this section, the employer shall retrain each such employee.       On or about August 27, 2012, employees were engaged in roofing activities on a commercial building without fall protection.  The employer is to provide retraining on fall protection for the employees exposed to fall hazards.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest system.      On or about August 27, 2012 on the west side of the commercial building, employees were engaged in roofing activities on a commercial building without fall protection.  The employees were exposed to a fall of 16 feet to the ground below.      WEST ROOFING, INC.  WAS PREVISOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.501(B)(10), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 312125792, CITATION NUMBER 01, ITEM NUMBER 1 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON FEBUARY 5, 2010 WITH A FINAL ABATEMENT DATE OF JANUARY 22, 2010, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT L AVE AND 18TH STREET, PLANO, TEXAS 75074.
