29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph (b): At the jobsite located approximately at 10330 V Street, Omaha, NE 68127: Employees of Newton Roofing were exposed to a fall height greater than 6 while performing roofing activity on the residence. The employer did not ensure that employees utilized 100% fall protection as required by the standard. Employees were wearing harnesses; however none of the employees were connected to an approved anchor point by a rope and lanyard. Newton Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 311469001, Citation #1, Item #2, and became a final order on 3-1-2010.
