29 CFR 1910.1030(d)(2)(i): Engineering and work practice controls were not used to eliminate or minimize employees exposure: a) Arthritis Group: Employees (Medical Assistants and Nursing Staff) administered a subcutaneous purified protein derivative injection with a non-safety engineered BD Tuberculin 1 milliliter syringe and a 25 G x 5/8 inch BD PrecisionGlide detachable needle (reorder number 309626). The employer did not ensure that the employees adminstered the injections with a safety engineered syringe. On or about August 23, 2012.
