29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) Beiler's Framing, 9214 White Chapel Lane, Lancaster, PA - An employee was applying the first set of sheathing on an approximate ten (10) foot high, steep-sloped (12:12) roof edge without a complete fall protection system, exposing the employee to possible fall hazards and related injuries, on or about August 22, 2012. BEILER'S FRAMING WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ADMINISTRATION STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 315888313, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 2, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON 5/2/2012 WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT LANCASTER, PA. No abatement certification or documentation required.
