29 CFR 1926.102(a)(2): Eye and face protection equipment required by this Part shall meet the requirements specified in American National Standards Institute, Z87.1-1968, Practice for Occupational and Educational Eye and Face Protection. a) On August 29, 2012 and at times prior thereto, an employee was not wearing safety glasses meeting the requirements of the American National Standards Institute standard Z 87.1-1968 while working with pneumatic nail guns. Note: Abatement certification is required for this item.
