29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: (a) Multiple self-contained eye wash stations throughout the facility including forklift battery charging stations in the northwest corner of the warehouse and the upstairs blending loft. Adequate eye wash stations with appropriate continuous flushing capacity were not provided in the immediate area for employees exposed to corrosives from battery acid during daily forklifts battery charging and fill-up operations. Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

29 CFR 1910.219(c)(2)(i): All exposed part(s) of horizontal shafting seven (7) feet or less from floor or working platform were not protected by stationary casing(s) enclosing shafting completely or by trough(s) enclosing sides and top or sides and bottom of shafting: (a) Hayssens room packaging lines. Mechanical power transmission horizontal shafts were unguarded and exposed for at least 3 inches between the wrap around rollers and the mounting housing on the inclined flat belt conveyors. Hayssens operators were exposed to entanglement hazards when working around the machines. Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
