29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2):     Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling:    a) On or about 08/29/12, in the production areas, metal receptacle boxes were used on the end of drop cords instead of being mounted in place as required by the National Electrical Code(NEC). Metal receptacle boxes energized machines such as, but not limited to: Microscopes, Electronic Height Gages, Belt Sander and Parker Majestic Surface Grinding.    b) On or about 08/29/12, in the production areas, a metal receptacle box used on the end of a drop cord to energize a Ebbco package Chiller, Model EDM-PC 3300L/EDM Drill CT500F, #383  was not mounted in place. This metal receptacle box showed signs of deterioration/corrosion and it was not appropriate for the specific use and environment.       ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
