29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b or c).    On or about August 30, 2012, at the corner of Doniphan St. and Roosevelt St, El Paso, Texas, two employees were working in a trench approximately 66 inches deep without any form of protective system in place.  This condition exposed employees to potential cave-in hazards.
