29 CFR 1910.151(c) Where the eyes or body of any person may be exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use.    On August 1, 2012, it was noted no suitable facility for quick drenching of the eyes and body is provided to employees in the plating room, dipping room, and rock tumbling room for immediate use.  Employees are using commercial grade chemicals such as, but not limited to, Potassium Cyanide, Phosphoric Acid, Sulfuric Acid, Muriatic Acid, Kerosene, and Sodium Hydroxide and no facility is provided to allow employees to properly drench themselves incase of emergency.    ARIZONA TRADERS (SILTEC) WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1910.151(c), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER #313501058, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON DECEMBER 8, 2011, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 1401 EAST SAN ANTONIO, EL PASO, TEXAS, 79929.
