29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about August 29, 2012, at the worksite located at 8801 Maumelle Boulevard in North Little Rock, Arkansas, at the front of the building being constructed, employee on an approximately 26 out x 50 ft. long porch roof canopy was not protected from falling to lower level. Employee was exposed to an approximately 9-10 ft. fall from elevation.
