29 CFR 1926.302(b)(1): Pneumatic power tool(s) were not secured to the hose or whip by some positive means to prevent the tool from becoming accidentally disconnected: (a) Bridge Deck, North Side - The employer did not ensure that the air lance and air hoses, connected to a compressor and used by an employee to blow off the bridge deck, was secured to prevent displacement, on or about August 20, 2012. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
