19 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were (s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph (b): On or about August 29, 2012, roofers were observed installing shingles on the roof and near unprotected edge of a residential home without fall protection or a written on-site fall protection plan. The employees were exposed to fall hazards at heights of greater than 6 feet above the ground.
