29 CFR 1926.405(a)(2)(ii)(E): Lamps used in temporary wiring for general illumination were not protected from accidental contact or breakage. a) Basement, north side: Two employees were working on two electrical panels, and were using two light bulbs for general illumination and the light bulbs were not protected from accidental contact or breakage. On or about 08/30/12. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection case file, the employer need not submit certification of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): Employees were permitted to work in proximity to electric power circuits and were not protected against electric shock by de-energizing and grounding the circuits or effectively guarding the circuits by insulation or other means. a) Basement, north side: Two employees were installing circuit breakers onto two energized 480V electrical panels. Employees were not protected against electric shock by de-energizing the panels, or wearing personal protective equipment. On or about 08/30/12. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the inspection case file, the employer need not submit certification of abatement for this violation as normally required by 29 CFR 1903.19.
