29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:    Main shop, on September 5, 2012, employees operated equipment which did not have guards in place to protect the employees from struck by and caught in between hazards from rotating equipment and nip points at point of work.     a) Speedy cut tapping machine Model ST3, Serial number S3V2-3024, had incomplete point of operation guarding / inadequate guarding.    b) Vantage precision Machine tools Lathe model 21806, serial number 360164 had incomplete point of operation guarding / inadequate guarding.    c) Bridgeport Milling machine model serial 1, with 3 hp-16A serial numbers unknown, had incomplete point of operation guarding / inadequate guarding.
