This chemical is used in the shaker for cleaning grease and oil off parts. This condition exposes employees to a chemical hazard. (b) A-1 Base at 4980 Niagara Street, Commerce City, CO 80022: On and before July 17, 2012, the employer did not ensure that a reservoir of Stoddard solvent was labeled with the identity and health warnings associated with the chemical. This reservoir is part of a shaker system that is used for cleaning grease and oil off parts. This condition exposes employees to a chemical hazard. (c) A-1 Base at 4980 Niagara Street, Commerce City, CO 80022: On and before July 17, 2012, the employer did not ensure that a secondary container of hydraulic oil was labeled with the identity and health warnings associated with the chemical. This container is used for testing DC motors. This condition exposes employees to a chemical hazard. Abatement Note: Each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace must be labeled with the following information: (1) Identity of the hazardous chemical(s); and, (2) Appropriate hazard warnings with the specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical(s).
