29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): The employer did not ensure that employees using tight-fitting facepiece respirators are fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator: Facility wide: On or about September 5, 2012, the employer did not provide fit tests for employees required to wear an N95 tight-fitting facepiece particulate respirators: a) A furnace operator is required to wear an N95 filtering face-piece respirator while changing the furnace liner. b) A shakeout and grinding employee is required to wear a N95 filtering face-piece respirator while removing cast pieces from molds and while grinding the pieces in preparation for finishing. c) A molding employee is required to wear a N95 while painting mold release onto molds.
