29 CFR 1926.25(a): During the course of construction, alteration, or repairs, debris was not kept cleared from work areas, passageways, and stairs, in and around buildings or other structures: During the construction of a new addition to the Grant Elementary School, debris accumulated throughout the hallways, the classrooms, and outdoors around the perimeter of the property where subcontractor's parked their vehicles and equipment. Debris included but was not limited to metal scrap, wood scrap, electical wire scrap, heavy dust, buckets, plastic food wrap, and supply wrap.
