Flexible cords shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided which will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. At the Site - A 16' x 3" nylon web sling, used to hoist 4 sheets of steel roofing panels had broken stitches along the edge exposing the red warning thread, was not immediately removed from service.
