On or about 9/7/2012 employees at the Glastonbury Monro Muffler/Brake shop were exposed to electrical hazards. Employees extension cord was not provided strain relief.

29 CFR 1910.22(a)(2): The floor of every workroom shall be maintained in a clean and, so far as possible, a dry condition. Where wet processes are used, drainage shall be maintained, and false floors, platforms, mats, or other dry standing places should be provided where practicable. On or about 9/7/2012 employees at the Glastonbury Monro Muffler/Brake shop were exposed to slips and falls from a leaking water fountain. Employees water fountain was leaking water on the floor. Monro Muffler/Brake was previouslly cited for the same standard (1910.22(a)(2)), which was contained in OSHA inspection 314402389, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 31 January 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 3334 Berlin Turnpike, Newington, CT 06111.
