29 CFR 1915.152(b): The employer did not assess its work activity to determine whether there were hazards present, which necessitate the employee's use of personal protective equipment:    a)  Ferryboat Santa Rosa, Pier 3, CRC Dept. and affected areas -  Noted on or about September 14, 2012 and at times prior thereto, employees working aboard the SANTA ROSA are expected to remove rodent droppings from their work area.  Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as disposable gloves, masks, and disinfectant wipes have been provided by the employer but the selection of this PPE was not communicated with the employees.
