29 CFR 1926.100(a):     Employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, shall be protected by protective helmets.    (a).  Worksite located at 1206 N. Belt Highway, St. Joseph, Missouri- An employee was observed working below elevated employees and materials without the use of any means of head protection.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(2):     Effective September 2, 1997, the employer shall have a competent person determine the feasibility and safety of providing fall protection for employees erecting or dismantling supported scaffolds. Employers are required to provide fall protection for employees erecting or dismantling supported scaffolds where the installation and use of such protection is feasible and does not create a greater hazard.    (a).  Worksite located at 1206 N. Belt Highway, St. Joseoph, Missouri- An employee was exposed to a fall hazard while standing on the outside of the frame of the scaffold where the scaffold boards protruded out from the frame. The employee was not protected from falling by a guardrail system or personal fall arrest system.
