29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(8):     Ladders placed in any location where they can be displaced by workplace activities or traffic, such as in passageways, doorways, or driveways, shall be secured to prevent accidental displacement, or a barricade shall be used to keep the activities or traffic away from the ladder.      (a) Construction Site - On or about September 5, 2012 a ladder used by employees to access the roof was placed near a doorway and was not secured to prevent accidental displacement.

WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CRF 1926.501(b)(11) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 311848808, CITATION NUMBER 01, ITEM NUMBER 001, ISSUED ON 05/19/08, WITH A FINAL ORDER DATE OF 06/12/08 WITH RESPECT TO THE WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 615 QUNITARD AVENUE, ANNISTON, AL.      (a) Construction Site - On or about September 5, 2012 employees were exposed to fall hazards when working on a roof without a guardrail system or personal fall arrest system or safety net system.
