29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees shall be provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations present potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents. An employee cutting concrete at the curb of a roadway with the use of a Husqvarna K970 Concrete Ring Saw was exposed to eye and face injuries. The employee was exposed in that safety glasses and face shield was not in use.
