29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On September 12, 2012 at a jobsite located at 1510 A North Bridge, Yorkville IL, employees were working on a commercial roof and were not utilizing fall protection. Employees were exposed to a fall of approximately 17.3 feet. Kenny Austin DBA Austin Lane Roofing & Home Repair was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 243003, citation number 01, item number 01, and was affirmed as a final order on 05/15/2012 , with respect to a workplace located at 43 Glencoe, Naperville, IL 60540 Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
