Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to burn hazards: (a) On or about 9/10/12 - Kitchen area, the front left and right doors of the Picto Frialator were missing. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard would be to ensure that all panels and access covers are attached correctly, as stated in the Pitco Frialator Installation, Operation and Maintenance Manual for Fryer Model Numbers 7, 12, 14, 14R & 18 Gas Fryers With Options and (F) Built-In and UFM (Spacefighter) Filter Systems.
