1926.100(a) Employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets.       Worksite, north - Employees were observed working under other workers in areas where objects such as, but not limited to, hand tools, containers of stucco and other finishing supplies could potentially fall on, or about, 09/13/12.           Note:   Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1) "Unprotected sides and edges." Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.     Worksite, north - Employees engaged in roof construction of a commercial building were observed working on a roof approximately 10 feet above the ground. Personal fall arrest systems, guardrails or safety nets were not provided on, or about, 09/13/12.          Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19.
