29 CFR 1926.28(a): Appropriate personal protective equipment was not worn by employee(s) in all operations where there was exposure to hazardous conditions: (a) 534 Shrewsbury Commons, York PA - An employee was observed operating a Stihl gas powered diamond tip cut saw cutting a grove in the driveway and was not wearing safety glasses, as referenced in 1926.102(a)(1), thereby exposing the employee to possible eye injuries, on or about September 17, 2012. (b) 534 Shrewsbury Commons, York PA - An employee was observed operating a Mikita 4 inch diamond tip grinder, Model #1318945, cuttting manufactured stone for the front entrance and was not wearing safety glasses, as referenced in 1926.102(a)(1), thereby exposing the employee to possible eye injuries, on or about September 17, 2012. No abatement certification or documentation required.
