29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall or come against, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: At the Nixa Junior High School work site employees were working in areas where ends of re-inforcing bar extendeing vertically from the concrete floor were un-protected. The un-protected ends of re-inforcng bar presented a potentially serious impalement hazard to the employees.
