Such guys, ties and braces were not installed at each end of the scaffold and at horizontal intervals not to exceed 30 feet (measured from one end [not both] towards the other):    a) East side scaffold: On September 20, 2012, and times prior thereto, employees were working on the top platform at a working height of approximately 31 feet on a 48 inch wide, 14 foot long, tubular welded frame scaffold that did not have a vertical tie at both ends of the scaffold at 16 feet in accordance with the 4:1 height requirement.      Note: Abatement certification is required for this item.
