29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. (a) 5207 East Gifted View Drive, Coeur d Alene, ID 83814; on or about 25 September 2012 and times prior thereto, the flexible power cord for the air compressor was in use at the site that had damaged insulation and wiring on the plug end. This condition exposed employees to an electrical shock hazard. (b) 5207 East Gifted View Drive, Coeur d Alene, ID 83814; on or about 25 September 2012 and times prior thereto, a red extension cord was in use at the site that had damaged insulation and wiring on the plug end. This condition exposed employees to an electrical shock and electrical burn hazards.
