29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: a) On the roof, front side of structure: On September 17, 2012 and at times prior thereto an employee performed siding activities without a fall protection system in place. b) On the roof, back side of structure: On September 17, 2012 employees performing siding activities wore personal fall arrest systems that were not attached to the lanyards that were in place. Note) Abatement certification is NOT required for this item.
