29 CFR 1926.62(h)(1): All surfaces were not maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead: On or about September 24, 2012, surfaces within the job trailer were not maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of lead: a) A wipe sample of the chair inside the job trailer indicated lead surface contamination of 1,586 micrograms per square foot, or 7.9 times the HUD acceptable decontamination level of 200 micrograms per square foot. b) A wipe sample of the top of a case of bottled water inside the job trailer indicated lead surface contamination of 2,980 micrograms per square foot, or 14.9 times the HUD acceptable decontamination level of 200 micrograms per square foot. c) A wipe sample of the floor of the job trailer indicated lead surface contamination of 160,800 micrograms per square foot, or 840 times the HUD acceptable decontamination level of 200 micrograms per square foot. d) A wipe sample of the table top in front of the microwave in the job trailer indicated lead surface contamination of 38,880 micrograms per square foot, or 194.4 times the HUD acceptable decontamination level of 200 micrograms per square foot.
