29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Every open-sided floor or platform 4 feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level was not guarded by a standard railing (or the equivalent as specified in paragraph (e)(3) of this section) on all open sides except where there is entrance to a ramp, stairway, or fixed ladder. a) On or about July 17, 2012; throughout facility; employees were exposed to fall hazards of 12 or more feet while climbing the trusses platform during dismantling of the structures.

29 CFR 1910.23(c)(2): Every runway was not guarded by a standard railing (or the equivalent as specified in paragraph (e)(3) of this section) on all open sides 4 feet or more above floor or ground level. Wherever tools, machine parts, or materials are likely to be used on the runway, a toeboard shall also be provided on each exposed side. a) On or about July 17, 2012; sub-roof area; employees installing lights through the sub-roof area were accessing the area by walking up a runway platform which did not have railing to prevent the employees sliding down or maintaining on the path preventing them from side stepping and falling through the sub-floor.
