29 CFR 1910.176(b): Material stored in tiers was not stacked, blocked, interlocked or limited in height so that it was stable and secure against sliding and collapse: Storage of material created hazards in the warehouse: a/ Along the east wall of the warehouse, the stacks of steel cable spools were not limited in height so that the stacks were stable and secure against collapse. The numerous stacks of cable spools are stored adjacent to the order picker and forklifts paths of travel. b/ Throughout the warehouse there were approximately nine instances of unstable metal storage racks due to bent or twisted main supports or cross bracing.
