Under section 17(c) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 and 29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: a)On or about 10/2/12, in the oil change pit, a portable fire extinguisher was not mounted, for ready access. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET). FINISH LINE CARWASH WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 314207283, CITATION NUMBER 01, ITEM NUMBER 4, ISSUED ON MARCH 11, 2011.
